Uninstall Compliance Tracker 365
Before starting, ensure the site is not linked with other sites:
- Navigate to Manage > Profiles to check where the profiles are managed.
- Navigate to Manage > Terms to check if the terms are used in other sites. Child sites should be removed first.
Steps to Remove CT365
1. Remove Columns from Libraries
- Open Site Pages and click the Manage icon.
- Go to the Libraries tab (click Setup if not visible).
- Toggle CT365 off for all libraries and click Apply.
2. Remove CT365 Web Parts
- In Site Pages, locate and delete any My Reads or PnP Search web parts showing CT365 content.
3. Remove the App from the Site
- Go to Site contents, click the three dots next to Compliance Tracker 365, and select Remove.
- If prompted, return to classic SharePoint and repeat the removal.
4. Remove Additional App
- Delete Compliance Tracker 365 – PnP Modern Search Extension the same way.
5. Delete CT365 Lists and Libraries
- Open each list/library:
Path:…/lists/CTSGConfig
Path:…/lists/CTSGLog(hidden)
Path:…/lists/CTSGUserProfile(parent site only)
Path:…/lists/CTSGProfileImport(hidden and parent site only)
Path:…/CTSGReports(hidden)
Path:…/sitepages/CTFiles(folder in site pages to be deleted) - Click Settings > List/Library settings > Delete this list/library.
6. Delete from App Catalogue
- Remove Compliance Tracker 365 and PnP Modern Search Extension from the SharePoint App Catalogue.
