The File Reader web part is used to read documents with the Tracker enabled.

🖥️ Viewing Options

• Provides a simple view option that opens the document in the embedded reader rather than the Office Online editor.
• To change this option, disable the setting under Management > App > Enable/disable simple file viewer.

📑 Tracking Requirements

• All documents and files to be tracked must be opened using the File Reader page:
  /SitePages/CTFiles/File-Reader
• This is the native page used by My Reads.
• Files viewed outside of the File Reader page will not be tracked.

🔎 Hidden Tracker Content

• Hidden Tracker content must be displayed either:
  • In My Reads, or
  • Using the PnP Modern Search web part
• Without this, tracking will not occur.
