- Indexing for newly created SharePoint sites can take up to 1 hour to begin.
⏱️ Setup Timing
- New site + app installation → A Wait message will appear until configuration files are indexed.
- Typically clears in under 1 minute, but may take up to 1 hour.
- Existing site + app installation → Wait time is usually only a few minutes.
⚙️ Setup Steps
Once the Management page is loaded:
- Click Setup.
- Select a Term Set.
- Add Profiles.
- Apply a License and install a Solution Template.
📊 Indexing Delays
- After profiles are created or a template is installed, content must be added to the search index.
- This delay impacts Reports, but targeting and tracking will work immediately.
- To enable targeting of documents in libraries:
- Open Management > Libraries.
- Apply Compliance Tracker 365 to the libraries.
- Once applied, documents can be targeted for tracking.
