Compliance Tracker 365 records both Reads and Views for each person and page/document combination.
Reads are recorded the first time a version of a document or page is acknowledged as read, or a quiz is successfully passed.
Views are recorded each time a document or page is visited. A maximum of 250 views are recorded for each person and page/document combination. Once 250 views are reached, older views are overwritten.
All Reads and Views are available in Compliance Tracker 365 reports.
It take a 2-3 seconds for a read or view to be recorded. If a person visits a page and navigates away quickly, this will not be registered which can lead to a difference between Microsoft Page Analytics and Compliance Tracker 365 Reports.
