Compliance Tracker 365 tracks both Reads and Views for every person and each page or document.

📖 Reads

• A Read is recorded the first time a version of a document or page is acknowledged as read, or when a quiz is successfully completed.
• Read duration covers the entire time from when the page is opened until the acknowledgement button is clicked — regardless of whether the page remains active during that period.

👀 Views

• A View is logged each time a document or page is accessed.
• Up to 500 views are stored per person and page/document combination.
  • Once the limit is reached, older entries are overwritten.
• View duration is measured only while the page is active.
  • If the page is minimized, the timer pauses and resumes once the page is maximized again.

📊 Reporting

• All Reads and Views are included in Compliance Tracker 365 reporting.
• It takes approximately 2–3 seconds for a Read or View to be registered.
  • If someone opens a page and leaves before this threshold, the interaction will not be recorded.
• As a result, report data in Compliance Tracker 365 may differ slightly from Microsoft Page Analytics.
